16-19 Bursary

Wymondham College Sixth Form 16-19 Bursary Fund is designed to help and support any student who faces financial barriers in education. The Scheme is divided into two parts:

The Vulnerable Bursary

You could receive up to £1,200 a year if you are in one of the specific vulnerable groups listed below:

• A young person in care.

• Care leaver.

• A young person receiving Universal Credit (UC) in your own right.

• Receiving Personal Independence Payments (PIP) in their own rights as well as (UC).

 

Discretionary Bursary

You can apply if:

• Student already receives Free School meals

• A student's combined household income is less than or equal to £30,000 after deductions.

• There are exceptional circumstances (at the discretion of the Sixth Form).

 

You could receive help towards

• Educational Visits

• Stationery

• Loan of Laptop

• Textbooks

• UCAS application fee

• Music Tuition

• Bus Pass

• Uniform and much more
