Wymondham College conducts examinations in accordance with the regulations and guidance published by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and the requirements of the relevant awarding organisations.

JCQ Information for Candidates

Preparing for Examinations

Students should familiarise themselves with their examination timetable and the JCQ examination requirements before their first examination.

Examination Dates – 2026/27

Year 11 Mock Examinations: 2–13 November 2026

GCSE Art, Photography and Textiles Mock Examinations: 30 November–3 December 2026

Year 13 Mock Examinations: 7–16 January 2027

Year 11 Core Mock Examinations: 9–13 February 2027

Year 10 Mock Examinations: 8–19 March 2027

Year 12 Mock Examinations: 15–24 April 2027

Summer Examination Series: 5 May–19 June 2027

Additional summer examination dates, including Art, Photography and Textiles and language speaking examinations, will be added when confirmed.

Students will receive their individual examination timetables through Bromcom.

Mock Examinations

Mock examinations at Wymondham College are run, as far as possible, in the same way as formal public examinations. Students are expected to follow the same examination procedures, including requirements relating to permitted equipment, prohibited items and conduct in the examination room.

Access Arrangements

Access arrangements are agreed in accordance with JCQ regulations and are based on a student's individual needs and normal way of working.

Certificates

Students will be emailed when their examination certificates are available for collection. The email will include details of collection arrangements and how certificates can be posted if required. Postage costs must be paid by the recipient.

Certificates can only be collected by the student. If a student wishes another person to collect certificates on their behalf, they must provide written authorisation naming the person who will be collecting them.

Wymondham College retains uncollected certificates for two years from the date of issue, after which they will be securely destroyed in accordance with JCQ requirements.

Former students with queries about certificates should contact College Office. Where certificates are no longer held by the College, former students should contact the relevant awarding organisation regarding replacement documentation.
