I am sure that you will have seen in the news the Government announcement regarding their aspiration to open schools after half term for some year groups.  The guidance issued from the Department of Education on 11 May suggest that they will ask secondary schools to offer some “face to face support to supplement the remote education of Year 10 and Year 12 students”.  There is a huge lack of clarity currently regarding exactly what this means and, until I am confident that I can guarantee the safety of all in our community, I will not be publishing plans to bring students back into the College. Rest assured, everything that we do, we do in the best interest of our students and I know that I speak for every member of staff when I say that we cannot wait for the buzz and excitement to return to the College campus.

If you are a keyworker and need to access childcare but have not registered with the College, please email Ms Susan Flint (collegeoffice@wymondhamcollege.org).

Our Home Learning offer continues to develop and improve and as we receive feedback from students, parents and staff we are amending our protocols to ensure continuing improvements.  However, I do understand how difficult it is for many students’ parents and if you have any specific questions relating to Home Learning, please email the Deputy Headteacher, Mrs Edmund-Grezio (edmundja.staff@wymondhamcollege.org).
