World Record at Wymondham

In May 2008 students from Wymondham College attempted to break a world record to raise money for the Bryan Gunn leukaemia charity. This took place on the field at the front of the school and was organised by Mr Keates Tutot Group..

This took place on the field at the front of the school and was organised by Mr Keates Tutor Group for their Enterprise Project.  The record the school were trying to break was the longest human teddy bear chain.  Wymondham College students and staff, many of whom know people who have been affected by this terrible disease in some way, took part.

They held hands with teddy bears in a giant chain around the school playing field to try to break the current record of 631 people and 630 teddy bears.

After two attempts the record was broken, much to the delight of the 672 people and 671 bears!
