The Under 15 team won the county sevens in emphatic style yesterday. The sevens tournament was held at Wymondham Rugby Club and hosted 11 teams. There were 5 teams in our pool and they were Langley School, Thetford Grammar School, Downham Market and Archbishop Sancroft High School.
After winning all pool games comfortably Wymondham College then had to play local rivals Wymondham High School in the semi final. Wymondham College went on to beat Wymondham High and were drawn against Langley School who had won their semi final against Cliff Park High School.
The final was very well contested, but some early scores from Wymondham College pulled them away from Langley. Wymondham College went on to win the final 28-0.
Wymondham College finished the day with scoring 185 points throughout their 6 matches and only conceding 5.
