Third Norfolk MFL Competition

On 3rd July, we were delighted to welcome over fifty competitors from Norfolk schools to the annual Modern Foreign Languages Competition which we organise and host as part of our Specialist Language College Programme.

Competitors presented a range of topics to a panel of judges which included Irene Wilkie, Principal Lecturer in Spanish, University of the West of England and Adam Cooke, Secondary MFL Advisor for Norfolk. Judges and colleagues were very impressed by the high standard of the presentations which really put Norfolk's talented linguists in the spot light.

During the lunch break, students worked in groups to produce multi-lingual podcasts to advertise the competition or to highlight the importance of language learning. Some of the podcasts along with a list of winners can be downloaded via the link on the right.

Congratulations to all competitors! We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
