On 8th July we were delighted to welcome over eighty competitors from 14 Norfolk schools to the annual Modern Foreign Languages Competition which we organise and host as part of our Specialist Language College programme.
Competitors presented a range of topics to a panel of judges which included Dr Alicia Peña Calvo, Senior Lecturer in Spanish and Applied Linguistics (Anglia Ruskin University), Inés Ruiz Navarro, Lecturer in Spanish (Anglia Ruskin University), Adam Cooke, Secondary Strategy Advisor (Norfolk LEA), Andrew Sheldrake, Lecturer (School of Education, UEA)
Judges and colleagues were once again very impressed by the standard of the presentations which really put Norfolk's talented linguists in the spot light.
During the lunch break, students worked in groups to produce multi-lingual TV adverts to advertise a range of European products.
Congratulations to all competitors!
