Ben Handford and Jodie Cole from Naked Marketing – Creative Agency from Wymondham
This session looked at pace and demand for both design and marketing. We looked at what is required in a magazine and students and staff were given advice and guidance. Using hints and tips we had the opportunity to create our own magazine layouts using images from the school website. We also gained some great advice for our school magazine. Thanks to Mr Keates for helping to organise the session.

Paul Robbins from Product Resolutions – Product Design
Product Design was the topic this week, students from years 9-13 came to listen to Paul Robbins from Product Resolutions, talk about the world of Product Design. Students learnt about the process and how products have to be designed so that they are marketable. The case study we looked at was a pet id scanner. The photographs show research elements, the initial solidworks fully rendered drawing and then the final piece.
