The Malek Academy is being built by the Derek Chappell Foundation near Bor in Southern Sudan
The Principal is a member of the Advisory Board of the Malek Academy which is being built by the Derek Chappell Foundation near Bor in Southern Sudan. The school will be a co-educational non-denominational boarding school which will play a vital role in improving the educational opportunities and prosperity of the region. Construction started in late summer 2009. We hope that in due course Malek Academy will take its place amongst the partners that Wymondham College has across the world.
These recent photographs show how the building work is progressing.
Update for November 2010 - ten girls and six boys have arrived at the school and classes started on Monday 8th November.
