As part of our Language College programme, "back to school" had a typically international flavour with us welcoming both Spanish and Czech students and colleagues early on in the new term.
The Spanish party from Vigo arrived first as part of an English Integration experience coordinated by a Norwich language school which saw them follow intensive English lessons, cultural visits and an experience of the Wymondham College curriculum and teaching. They were closely followed by a group from our Czech partner school, Open Gate, with whom we first started an exchange three years ago and were delighted to welcome back to Norfolk.
A big “thank you” must go to all host families and Houses for welcoming our friends and all colleagues who played a role in offering them the College experience. Particular thanks to Frau Pfeiffer and Mr Jones (JNR) for organising the Czech exchange programme.
