Coincidentally, whilst we were celebrating St George's Day here, it was also Ferrara's Saint's Day.
Following a welcome by Mr Roffe in the Chapel, our visitors then taught their hosts some basic Italian during their Language Awareness lesson. This was followed by a selection of Italian cakes and biscuits in the refectory which our visitors kindly brought with them to share. The group then followed their hosts to Technology, English, History and Geography lessons before presenting all of their penfriends with souvenirs of their school. A great day was had by all and we hope that many life-long friendships have been started.
