A great win for Fry for the first time in 20 years
On March 12th 1967, a musical competition was held for the first time in the Sports Hall at Wymondham College . This competition, involving all ten Houses at the time, was inspired by Miss Mair, who presented a cup on leaving the college to be awarded to the House with the greatest musical ability.
In 1967 Durham House were the eventual winners of the contest, which, according to the College magazine of the same year 'provided an evening of fine entertainment, if not always strictly musical!'
In 2009 it was the turn of Fry House to come out top following an excellent competition.
A few DVDs are still available at a cost of £3 from Mrs Davis at the College. All profits from DVD sales go to charity and the school EcoSchools campaign.
