As part of our Specialist Language College programme and Leadership Partner status, we offer the nationally recognised Foreign Language Leader Award to our Sixth Form linguists. This exciting and challenging programme is run by Mr Moyle and Mrs Atkin from the MFL Department.
The Foreign Language Leader Award is broken down into six units, some of which tackle generic leadership skills such as communication and organisation, whilst others focus on subject specific skills such as understanding the basic principles of foreign language and running a language festival/event.
Initial sessions have focused on managing language learning, verbal and non-verbal communication and designing language learning resources.
