As part of our work with local primary schools the Technology College subject - Maths, Science ICT and Technology, have been working with year 5 and 6 students on a Saturday morning.
Masterclasses aim to be fun insights into some of the work that we do here at Wymondham College and hopefully to give the students opportunity to work with equipment, tools and software they would not usually have the chance to.
There are many fantastic projects happening in Mathematics students are recreating famous bridges, in ICT they are getting to grips with picture manipulation, in Technology they are learning about electronics and bulding circuits and in Science they are practising working in a labrotory environment.
The teacherst delivering the work this year have put a great deal of time into the projects and there are some fantastic results.
Students choose either Technology and ICT or Science and Maths. They have six Saturdays in one subject then change to the other.
