On Monday 22nd February our Sixth Form linguists welcomed students and colleagues from Dereham, Thorpe, Hellesdon, Cromer, Wymondham High and Hewett schools for a conference entitled "How to become an outstanding A Level linguist." The course delivered by Mr Tony Woolstone, Chair of AQA Examiners for Languages, was designed for all students in Years 12 & 13 taking the new AQA MFL A Level Exam in French, Spanish & German. It focused both on the exams themselves as well as the skills needed to maximise potential and earn every mark come the big day.
Tony Woolstone, is well known to many MFL teachers as the presenter of many practical courses at all levels of language teaching. At the end of a lively, challenging and innovative day students were in a stronger position to deal with the demands of AQA AS & A2 French, Spanish & German.
