As part of the Business Language Champions Plus (BLC+) scheme supported by The Centre for Information on Language Teaching (CILT), RLN East and Norfolk County Council, our A level linguists have been working with Judge’s Choice Pet Foods based in East Harling on a market research project for the company to assist their further expansion into European markets. Our AS French group has recently undertaken research into the European canine and feline population and the current routes to market of their food and presented their findings to Company Chairman, Mr James Chester. Through the project, students were able to see the benefits of having a degree of language competency in the business environment.

The BLC+ scheme has also seen Wymondham College hosting French lessons for members of the local business community who are learning alongside some of our students and staff.
