The students played extremely well, as usual, before returning to the Music Department for the rest of the morning.
The Wymondham College Jazz Band have been asked to perform several times over the last couple of years, including the Lincoln lecture in January, the Bishop’s Garden in the summer, 2010, the usual 6th form Open Evening in October 2010 and, of course, the BSA Headteacher’s conference in Oxford in May 2009. This event was a great PR opportunity for the College, being attended by the principals of schools from across the country including our very own Mr Melvyn Roffe.
