The Band can be seen in lots of public occasions including; the Guard Mount of Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and of course the world famous 'Trooping the Colour'. The Band is also available to hire for any other military or civilian event across the UK or indeed the world.
Members of the Concert Band were lucky to be given the opportunity in the summer of 2009 to be able to perform with the nationally acclaimed Grenadier Guards. The Grenadier Guards Band kindly offered to spend the day with the students, discussing the role of the musician in an army band, giving them career advice and performing with them in a concert in the evening. They have offered to make this a biannual event.
Several of the Wymondham College musicians were also invited to perform with the Grenadier Guards at St Andrews Hall on the weekend before they arrived at the college.
The Band has a wealth of talent and is equally at home in marching band guise or symphonic concert band. The Band also has a number of very capable smaller ensembles and contemporary bands.
