We are a dynamic, forward thinking department supported by Specialist Language College status offering French, German and Spanish to all our students from Year 7. We offer a range of trips, exchanges and work experience opportunities to a variety of countries and destinations. All students benefit from oral preparation sessions with our native speaker Language Assistants to maximise exam performance. We aim to prepare all our students to achieve and exceed their potential at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level. As part of our Language College status, we also offer taster sessions in Mandarin Chinese and Latin. Cologne Trip
At the beginning of May, 44 year 7 and 8 pupils travelled to the Rhineland to experience the colourfulness of German life and language at first hand.
