Associate Principal

I joined Wymondham College as Associate Principal in September 2011. Before that, I was a Curriculum Director at a 6th form College in Cambridge, so one key difference for me has been working with students at Key stages 3 and 4 as well as Key Stage 5. My first impression of the College – apart from the size of the site and the very impressive new International Centre – was how enthusiastic the students are. Wymondham College provides fantastic opportunities for students to get involved with life here, and many actively contribute to a whole array of student-led activities from year 7 students joining House Committees through to 6th formers inspiring younger students in their capacity as subject leaders.

I’ve really enjoyed working with students and colleagues across the college and starting the CIE (Community, Innovation & Enrichment) programme of activities. It’s shaping up to be another productive and successful year for Wymondham College and I’m delighted to be a part of it.
