Summer Ball 2008
The weather leading up to the Summer Ball of 2008 had been horrendous, Plans for buying huge amounts of umbrellas and wellies were underway and escorts arranged to guide our guests to the cloakrooms, in the event that the rain didn’t stop.
We had visions of rivers of rainwater running through the marquee, but lo and behold the weather turned and we were all able to enjoy our canapés and Champagne basking in the early evening sunshine.
During the evening we had dancing to a live band, and a “Money cannot buy Auction” with as many as 6 different bids available. The “Money Cannot buy auction” is a great way to raise funds for the College students. All of the “Money cannot buy” lots are donated, so all the funds raised go straight back to the College PSA for distribution. Our main Auction bid for 2008 was a Weekend with an Audi TT, which was very kindly donated by Robinsons Audi of Norwich.

Summer Fayre 2008
There was glorious weather for the Summer Fayre and the crowds enjoyed a variety of attractions. The College Band entertained us and the catering department provided an excellent BBQ and cream teas. There was apple bobbing, beat the goalie, golf, bowling and much more to keep everyone entertained. The PSA had worked tremendously hard as ever to give everyone a great afternoon and raise money for the College.
